I'm fairly certain every little girl wishes for a pony at some point in their life. Ok, maybe not EVERY little girl but I'm sure it's a high number. I was one of those little girls, and even though I never did get my pony or horse, I've grown up around family who have lots of animals. It is incredibly relaxing for me to be around these majestic animals, and so when my godfather asked me to photograph him and his wife after their big day, I jumped into my boots so fast my mom (who was visiting at the time) probably thought there really was a fire somewhere. This. This is my dream job. Getting to capture these images was just incredibly satisfying, during and even after.
I am absolutely smitten. With them as a couple (seriously, they're adorable), with their horses, with this barn that is so conveniently located in the middle of the city (who would've thunk it...is thunk a word????WHO CARES?!?!?). Just all of it.
I need more of these shoots in my life. For real.
