My friends have been trying to have their second kid for a long time now, and I am so excited that it's happening!!! And to think....TWINS!!!! I am absolutely ecstatic. And when we found out that it was twins, my boyfriend made the joke about it being a timelord. Well, we're all a bunch of Doctor Who nerds so it was perfect. He's pretty witty. But it turned out to be a great idea for the pregnancy announcements.
Their little girl, who is now the future big sister, is such an amazing little girl. She's sweet and funny, and her favorite Doctor is David Tennant. She's perfect, your argument is invalid. And even with the prospect of twins being completely overwhelming, she is taking everything in stride. She's going to be an amazing big sister.
I am so glad we got to incorporate some of our geeky fandom into this precious announcement. It's also taught me that I have a lot to work on when it comes to photoshop. That stuff is no joke. But I'll get there, right now having a full time job makes this dream really difficult but all the more satisfying.
We honestly just had a lot of fun. And since this was shot on Dauphin Island, we had a nice walk to the beach and then took some family pictures while we were there.
It also just makes me really happy when I see couples who have been trying for a long time finally achieve what they've been longing for. It makes it all the sweeter, and it makes me all the more hopeful.
That's something I love about this place. I miss the blue warm water of West Palm Beach, but I love the sand dunes and ultra fine white sand around here. Sometimes, it's so white it looks like snow. And there is absolutely something that needs to be said about the sunsets around here, they're magical.
