I don't even have to say it. It's been a rough year but it's also been a year of immense growth for me. I've stepped up to every new challenge and adapted, and you know what, I got sh!# done. So as the year starts to wind down, I'd like to introduce you to "Things I'm Thankful For" (TITF).
I have a friend, whom every year when November rolls around, she will post something she's thankful for (TITF) every single day. Every. Single. Day. Let me tell ya, that is so much harder than it sounds.
I think I tried to keep up with her once and failed after about a week. So what I want to do, is just do one big one for all of you. And as usual, I'll throw in some cute pictures for you guys. Because that's what you came for, am I right?
I'm thankful that my momma raised me strong enough to endure.
I'm thankful for my pets, who never let me suffer a lonely night.
I'm thankful for the friends that become family and the family that are close enough to be friends.
I'm thankful for the laugh lines and the creases in my forehead, showing that I've lived.
I'm thankful for the ability to keep dancing.
I'm thankful for the roof over my head and the food in my belly.
I'm thankful that I found an amazing place to work that allows me so much creative freedom, with a team that feels like family.
I'm thankful for the women that came before me, that paved the way for me to be allowed to vote today.
I'm thankful for Fate, or whatever you wanna call it, for putting you in my path.
I'm thankful I ignored you the first time, and learned the lessons I needed to learn in order to appreciate you more.
I'm thankful that you were crazy enough to jump into this adventure with me.
I'm thankful for the people around me that support me when I feel the lowest of the low.
I'm thankful for the times you hold me in complete silence, without an ounce of selfishness to it.
I'm thankful for the belly laughs.
I'm thankful for the hope.
I'm thankful for our past, present, future.
I'm thankful for the help.
I'm thankful for warmth on cold nights.
I'm thankful for A/C. Seriously though.
I'm thankful for music and the voices that led me through the darkness.
I'm thankful for golden hour.
I'm thankful for the mistakes I've made that led me to this moment.
